Construction Updates from El Corpus!

1–2 minutes

This spring has been a busy and exciting time on the campus in El Corpus! As we shared back in March, groundbreaking officially took place, and the students eagerly jumped in to help crews clear the area so construction could begin. At the end of March, an access road was cleared so construction crews could reach the site.

April Site Visit

In April, right on the heels of our successful plant fundraiser weekend, Friends of IFM board member Omar Lainez visited the school. He captured some wonderful photos of our friends at Fermín Mayorga, as well as the initial building progress. As many of you know, Omar’s sister is Juana Lainez, the dedicated director of the school, making this update extra special for our community.

May Progress

This May, Juana sent a few more photos showing delivery trucks arriving with fill dirt and rows of concrete bags ready for the next phase of work.

With Gratitude

It is great to see the library project progressing! Thank you to our partners and friends in Honduras for keeping us updated with these photos and milestones. We can’t wait to see the walls of the library go up!
